T&M DEEPER THAN WORDS
Unto thee, O Yahvah do I lift my soul. Ps 25:1
Prayer is something deeper than words. It is present in the soul before it has been formulated in words. And it abides in the soul after the last words of prayer have passed over our lips.
PRAYER: PRAISE YOUR NAME YAHVAH, THAT I CAN COME BEFORE YOU WITH PRAYER ON MY LIPS TO GIVE PRAISES TOO YOU, AND TO CALL UPON YOUR SWEET NAME, A NAME THAT SAVES MANY SOULS, A NAME THAT HEALS, A NAME THAT COMFORTS THE HEART. THANK YOU YAHVAH FOR THE MANY BLESSING THAT YOU GIVE ME DAY BY DAY. HALLELUYAH! Bro. Doc

@HUMOR_ME_NOW - Those preachers that think you should not pray for things don’t read the Scripture well. “ASK AND YE SHALL RECEIVE.” For us to be saved we have to open our mouth and ask. If I never asked and just expected Him to give me things, I am fooling myself. No one is a lousy prayer Bro. Frank, He hears the prayers of everyone no matter how they pray. Am having a blessed week and hope you are too. Bro. Doc
lol I never know what to do with these sound good sayings that might be provable in the Bible, but doubt it. lolFor example, Jesus asked a blind man what he wanted. Duh!! He replied that he could see. Jesus made him say it.Jesus said Ask, Seek, and Knock. I think it is John 16 around verse 26 or so, where He teaches to ask. Most of His prayer instruction is on asking. Somehow, most of the preachers that I was under were always criticizing the congregation for always asking God for things and implying that their prayer requests were selfish. It was Jesus instructions to ask.I have said it before, but what I found too often was we kill ourselves to give people the Good News that Jesus Saves and once in church we give them the Bad News that they are living such crummy lives that they will probably go to hell. One of our pastors actually said that he thought about 95% of church members (not his of course) were going to hell. lol It drives me crazy. lolI am lousy at prayer. I don’t even ask much any more—just a morning visit with Jesus and see what He has for me today—I am shocked at how nice He has been go me. It is incredible. I love HIs mercy in my old age. He is incredible. One young pastor named Joseph Prince discusses Jesus and salvation in every sermon. He thought it would not work, but did because he thought God told him to do that. I am with him even though I am a Fundamental Baptist at heart. lolAnyway, sorry for the long comment. I do not have much time for blogging with my daughter visiting. lolHope your week is going well.blessings, frank
