  • T&M SABBATH 7/27/13 OUR ZEAL

If we desire to retain our zeal for those whom we are praying, and if their needs and distress are to move us to intercede for them daily, we will find that this does not take place without striving and wresting on our part.

PRAYER: FATHER, I PRAY THAT OUR ZEAL FOR THOSE IN DISTRESS, LOST AND DYING AND WITHOUT NEVER FAILS AND THAT WE WILL ALWAYS PRAY FOR THEM. HELP ME TO REMEMBER THOSE THAT DO NOT KNOW YOU TOO. HALLELUYAH! Bro. Doc

  • @HUMOR_ME_NOW - Shalom Bro. Frank, I believe there are people that Yahvah is not calling at this time. They are blinded to the truth and Salvation. One whom is saved shouldn’t marry a not saved person in the first place. That is unequally yoked together.I believe someday your pray will be answered Bro. Frank, when you least expect it.That is the way prayer works. When we at least expect it, it happens. I know I seen it happened. Have a great First Day. and be in the Assembly. Bro. Doc

  • I guess that depends on how important they are to us. I know that sounds callus, but most people with  needs are in my prayer list and I kind of assume God is working on it.  Sometimes I am shocked at how quickly God answers. I have, however, prayed for my son-in-law for decades for salvation and nada!!!   It is a little tricky for me.  God is dealing with many people unilaterally and does not need my help, and the early church prayers (Acts 4) Seemed OK with the Sovereignty of God no matter what He did–they just wanted to be bold no matter what happened. I am sure that if I was in a foreign jail, I would be able to pray with plenty of passion.  Not nice of me, and I know some Christians around the world are really getting beat up by hostile governments. I should pray more for them.Thinking out loud again.frank
