T&M 12-23-12 QUESTION
No mention shall be made of coral or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies. Job 28:18
It seems impossible that I would ever question your wisdom Yahvah. And yet I often do. At every turn I see a better way; with every crisis I seek my own solutions. But in those moments, remind me: You are still at work in my life.
PRAYER: FATHER, WE PRAY THAT WE WILL NOT QUESTION YOUR WILL FOR US, AND THAT WE ALWAYS DO YOU WILL IN OUR LIVES. THANK YOU FATHER. IN YAHVAHOSHA'S NAME, HALLELUYAH! Bro. Doc

@ANVRSADDAY - Kind of reminds me of Dr. Webster of the First Baptist Church in Eugene, when he was the Pastor. He was 27 years at First Baptist and in that time the Church went from 500 to 3,000 and 3 Chapels were built, now they are full churches in the Conservative Baptist Organization. Speaking of Dr. John MacArthur, I did hear him speak once at First B. Also when His Father had the program, it came from First B. now I believe the son has the same program.
And about 4 years ago the First B had to build a new Church and move from there 1927 Church because they ran out of room, and they were having 3 morning services.
They now have a building out near the Camp they own in the northeast side of Eugene, and it was built to seat 6,000 and they have 4,000 now. They have room to add on if the time comes too that. They are the largest Church in Eugene. Have a blessed Day Bro. Frank. Bro. Doc
@BroDoc - I vaguely recall Pastor John had a Baptist preaching father and was out of California. Nice to know he was a good preacher. We were members of John's church twice--once when we first got there and 20 years later when we moved back to California. The time he first got there was simply incredible as to growth, souls saved, and attendance that put people out on the lawns listening to loud speakers. 20 years later is was more quiet and respectable. lol We were spoiled by being there at the very beginning. I have never seen anything like it since. John has became controversial and so he has his opponents.
blessings,
frank
@ANVRSADDAY - Bro. Frank, I will say this and it is not worded just like the Scripture, but it say "The lest shall be first and the great shall be last. So you know as well as I do that Yahvah is no respecter of persons. So you will get into the Kingdom NOT by works, but by being saved. And did you know that Dr. John MacArthur's father Dr. Jack MacArthur's father used to be the Pastor of the First Baptist Church over in Eugen, 5 miles from me, years ago, in the 70's I believe
I have a copy of Dr. MacArthur's Scriptures that his notes are in.
He is a good Conservative Baptist Preacher. Bro. Doc.
@BroDoc - We were doing fine until she got sick. lol Now Pam is a nurse--hope she does not catch it. Norma has always been a more committed Christian as to trying very hard to follow the Lord. She has listened to John MacArthur sermons for over 30 years every day. She is a very zealous soul winner and has lead more people to the Lord than most pastors. That is not a really fair statement, but everyone she meets is going to hear the gospel somewhere along the line--usually immediately.
She was a stay at home mom and I was the bread winner.
She will do far better than I on the day of rewards. I am proud of her.
blessings,
frank
@ANVRSADDAY - May I ask the question why she is stronger than you. And Col 2:3 is very good. Hope you are having a good time at your daughter Bro. Frank. Take care Bro. Doc
Hi Pastor,
I know you have started your Sabbath day, but wanted to say that my wife has been much stronger than me in pursuing the wisdom of God. I think she likes Col. 2:3 or somewhere around there.
blessings
