  • WHAT IF….?

I would like to ask as few question and see what your answers are too them.

1.What if we only ate as much as we went to the Assembly?

    2. Why is is we think one hour a week is good to spend in the Assembly?

    3. Why do we not go to the Religious Education Classes  be the Worship Services?

    4. Why do we decide to not go to the Tues or Wed. Scripture Study?

    5. What if the Messiah came when it is the night or day that they are having a meeting at the Assembly are you at home, what would you say to Him?

    6. Do you only pray once a week, on Worship day or everyday?

    7. Do you read your Scriptures only on Worship Day, or do you have a personal Study each and every day?

    8. Are you a once a week Religious person in the Assembly or do you go to every Service you can?

    9. Do you make up excuses why you can’t go to this meeting or that at the Assembly

    10. Do you make up excuses why you never go the Assembly?

Thank you for taking this self examination test. Bro. Doc

  • My relationship with my Father is based in my home, not in a church building. Every church I’ve ever attended has, sooner or later, demonstrated a greater loyalty to their own doctrine than to the word of God. I don’t trust any man well enough to let him govern or shape my relationship with my father in the heavens or my saviour Ye’shua. Father wrote a lengthy letter to ME (and YOU and YOU and YOU), and I don’t want the mailman to open it, read it to me, and then explain what my Father meant. I invite my king to take his place in my home and in my heart, I speak with him all day, brothers and sisters visit every day and we pray, study and eat together, we gather in his name every time we do gather, which on one level or another is every day. We can’t GO to church brother. We ARE the church.

  • @C_L_O_G - This is very true. When we are in contact with Him it is easier. Bro. Doc
@Lewis1122 - Bro. Lewis I will start with the Scripture, Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Now you might disagree with one Pastor/Assembly. But in a city as big as yours I am sure there is some place you can agree with what is taught.
Because this Scripture tells me that we are suppose to assemble together.
And another Scripture says, HOW CAN THEY HEAR WITHOUT A PREACHER.
A lot of people Bro. Lewis, say they can’t agree with some preacher and therefore stay home. But when you live in a big city, they must be a place you can go.
Remember this is not a put down. Bro. Doc

  • Very good Bro Doc, if the assembly means only church then my wife and I would be starved to death. But if the assembly is any where two or more are gathered in his name, I would be eating great. If the assembly is only a church in which it has a pastor, then how does one attend assemblies in which they disagree with the fundamentals that are taught?

  • Great questions for reflection.  Life is so much easier when one stays in contact with God and his people.

  • @Growedup - Also Sis. Bev we need to be to the Assembly Morning on the Religious day and Evening on that day and midweek services. Bro Doc
@lifeontheWink -Now remember the question Sis. Karen, if we ate as much as we went to the Assembly I think most would be dead.
Now you can answer this too yourself. Why do you not go to the Assembly that much? Bro. Doc

  • i don’t spend a lot of time in church, but i pray with every breath and i study the scriptures daily.–karen

  • I would hate to think where my life would be if I only prayed, read, or whatever one day a week…

I stop and pray that an animals soul makes it to heaven and the owners hearts can be healed every time I see one dead on the road. I stop to pray when I see the sirens go down the road… and I pray for others on the prayer boards even when I am doing well in life.
