T&M THE SURE ANCHOR OF FAITH
Beloved, now are we the sons of Yahvah, and it doth not yet appear what we should be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 1 Jn 3:2-3.
Here the eye of faith is directed to Yahvah, to look to the unseen, not upon the things that are now apparent. Faith lives in expectation of a future good; it discerns inexpressible advantages in the heavenly gift. The hope of the future life is an essential part of our Messiah like faith. When we allow worldly attractions, shopping, to come between the soul and Yahvah, the world is all we can discern. Look higher, fix the eye of faith upon things unseen, and you will become strong in the divine strength.
Our faith increases by beholding Yahvahosha, who is the center of all that is attractive and lovely. The more we contemplate the heavenly, the lest we see desirable and attractive in the earthly. The more continually we fix the eye of faith on Messiah, in whom our hopes of eternal life are centered, the more our faith grows; our hope strengthens, our love becomes more intense and fervent, with the clearness of our spiritual insight, and our spiritual intelligence increases. More and more we realize the positive claim of Yahvah upon us to purify ourselves from the customs and practices of a world that knows not Yahvah, nor Yahvahosha Messiah whom He has sent.
The more we behold Messiah, talk of His merits, and tell of His power, the more fully we shall reflect His image in our own characters and the less we should submit our minds and affections to the paralyzing influences of the world. The more our minds dwell upon Yahvahosha, the less they will be enveloped in the fog of doubt, and the more easily shall we lay all our trials, all our burdens, upon the Burden Bearer.
Let faith piece though the hellish shadow of Satan and center in Yahvahosha, our high priest, who hath entered for us within the veil. Whatever clouds overcast the sky, whatever storms surge, around the soul, this anchor holds firm, and we may be sure of victory.
PRAYER: ALMIGHTY HEAVENLY FATHER YAHVAH, WE HAVE A SURE ANCHOR OF FAITH IN YAHVAHOSHA MESSIAH, THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH. THE ONE THAT IS THERE FOR US WHEN WE CALL UPON HIS NAME. WE ARE THANKFUL THAT YOU ARE THERE FOR US AND WILL BE THERE FOR US AS LONG AS WE ARE PART OF YOUR KINGDOM. WE THANK YOU FOR THE BLESSINGS YOU GIVE US, AND THE FAITH YOU GIVE US. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. THIS WE PRAY IN YAHVAHOSHA’S MIGHTY NAME. THANK YAHVAH, HALLELUYAH! Bro. Doc

@BroDoc - I sure do….Though He never lets go….I’m still clinging to Him….
I tried living my faith once in Grand Rapids. It took lots of work, and the results were wonderful. lol It was too had. I went back to what I call normal faith—Just enjoy what God throws my way daily and He is generous and wonderful. Satan was kind of obvious at times, and The Lord helped me with that. I spend more time just talking to The Lord rather than prayer requests unless I am upset about something the world is doing to me. lol I think world, flesh and devil are the big three.
I think faith hope and love are our big three unless you want to be more spiritual and say Father, Son and Spirit.
I just read the Bible. i am in Psalms now and it is an emotional book. Also, I am in Matthew. i am not always reading the Gospels, so I think more about what i am reading than Father, Son or Spirit. I take time to talk to the Father-that is what Jesus recommended. lol
I am rambling again. Sorry.
