  • @HUMOR_ME_NOW - As I have found out like you Bro. Frank, there are many people in the work field that do not want to try new things, because they are at the mind set that the way they are doing things is the only way it is going too work. But they do find out when they try the new way, that they wonder why they didn’t do it in the first place. And least you got the job done and I hope you got a raise for doing it? Bro. Doc

  • The hard part is knowing the difference between good an bad ideas.  I now hesitate when something sounds like an obviously good idea.  I don’t  even trust me good ideas.I suppose that if the idea is good it takes some effort to implement.I just remembered one experience. After 2 years as a claim adjustor, I was given my first management position. All the the sfaff had handle claims a long time and I was new. They were skeptical of my ideas. They were working very long hours and many weekends. I felt it was unnecessary and had so much resistance to my time saving and work flow ideas that I started a 25 minute Monday Morning class.  It took 6 months of selling my idea before they tried it. It worked and with in 6 months they were going home early and not working weekends.  One wife called me up and thanked me for giving back her husband.frank
