    I Have Great News

The newlywed wife said to her husband when he returned from work, "I have great news for you. Pretty soon, we're going to be three in this house instead of two."

Her husband ran to her with a smile on his face and delight in his eyes.

He was glowing of happiness and kissing his wife when she said, "I'm glad that you feel this way since tomorrow morning, my mother moves in with us."

    The Revenues of the Wicked

    By Paul Chappell

      Monday, Apr 15, 2013

"In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble."

    Proverbs 15:6

So many people think if they just had money, everything would be different. What many who do get money suddenly find is that things are different—it gets worse. When Jack Whittaker won the Powerball lottery prize jackpot of over $314 million on Christmas day 2002, it was at the time the largest prize won by a single winner in US history. Whittaker was already a successful businessman, but the sudden windfall proved to be anything but a blessing for his family.

Over the next decade, both his granddaughter and her boyfriend died from apparent drug overdoses, his daughter passed away, he was robbed on more than one occasion, arrested for driving under the influence, and he has been sued by a number of people and businesses, including a Caesar’s Atlantic Casino for $1.5 million in bounced checks to cover gambling losses.

The devil knows we are often susceptible to the temptation to take shortcuts to try to get rich, but that path always leads to ruin. The more successful a person is at getting wealth through illegitimate means, the worse off they are—no matter how much their bank balance grows. That is because of the great temptations that lie in the path of those who desire riches. Paul reminded Timothy “But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition” (1 Timothy 6:9).

Despite what some teach, God does not promise that every one of His children will be wealthy. He does promise to meet and supply our needs, and we can trust Him enough not to look for quick or dishonest ways of accumulated wealth. Cultivate contentment instead, and you will be spared many sorrows.

    Today’s Proverbs Precept:
If you acquire your resources through hard work, they will last and you will escape the trouble that comes with ill-gotten gains.

    Old Testament Reading
    1 Samuel 27

    CHAPTER 27

1 And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand. 2 And David arose, and he passed over with the six hundred men that were with him unto Achish, the son of Maoch, king of Gath. 3 And David dwelt with Achish at Gath, he and his men, every man with his household, even David with his two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the Carmelitess, Nabal's wife. 4 And it was told Saul that David was fled to Gath: and he sought no more again for him. 5 And David said unto Achish, If I have now found grace in thine eyes, let them give me a place in some town in the country, that I may dwell there: for why should thy servant dwell in the royal city with thee? 6 Then Achish gave him Ziklag that day: wherefore Ziklag pertaineth unto the kings of Judah unto this day. 7 And the time that David dwelt in the country of the Philistines was a full year and four months.

8 And David and his men went up, and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and the Amalekites: for those nations were of old the inhabitants of the land, as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt. 9 And David smote the land, and left neither man nor woman alive, and took away the sheep, and the oxen, and the asses, and the camels, and the apparel, and returned, and came to Achish. 10 And Achish said, Whither have ye made a road to day? And David said, Against the south of Judah, and against the south of the Jerahmeelites, and against the south of the Kenites. 11 And David saved neither man nor woman alive, to bring tidings to Gath, saying, Lest they should tell on us, saying, So did David, and so will be his manner all the while he dwelleth in the country of the Philistines. 12 And Achish believed David, saying, He hath made his people Israel utterly to abhor him; therefore he shall be my servant for ever.

    CHAPTER 28

1 And it came to pass in those days, that the Philistines gathered their armies together for warfare, to fight with Israel. And Achish said unto David, Know thou assuredly, that thou shalt go out with me to battle, thou and thy men. 2 And David said to Achish, Surely thou shalt know what thy servant can do. And Achish said to David, Therefore will I make thee keeper of mine head for ever. 3 Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land. 4 And the Philistines gathered themselves together, and came and pitched in Shunem: and Saul gathered all Israel together, and they pitched in Gilboa. 5 And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was afraid, and his heart greatly trembled. 6 And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.

7 Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor. 8 And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee. 9 And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die? 10 And Saul sware to her by the LORD, saying, As the LORD liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing. 11 Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel. 12 And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou art Saul. 13 And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. 14 And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.

15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do. 16 Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the LORD is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy? 17 And the LORD hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the LORD hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David: 18 Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the LORD done this thing unto thee this day. 19 Moreover the LORD will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the LORD also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines.

20 Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore afraid, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night. 21 And the woman came unto Saul, and saw that he was sore troubled, and said unto him, Behold, thine handmaid hath obeyed thy voice, and I have put my life in my hand, and have hearkened unto thy words which thou spakest unto me. 22 Now therefore, I pray thee, hearken thou also unto the voice of thine handmaid, and let me set a morsel of bread before thee; and eat, that thou mayest have strength, when thou goest on thy way. 23 But he refused, and said, I will not eat. But his servants, together with the woman, compelled him; and he hearkened unto their voice. So he arose from the earth, and sat upon the bed. 24 And the woman had a fat calf in the house; and she hasted, and killed it, and took flour, and kneaded it, and did bake unleavened bread thereof: 25 And she brought it before Saul, and before his servants; and they did eat. Then they rose up, and went away that night.

    CHAPTER 29

1 Now the Philistines gathered together all their armies to Aphek: and the Israelites pitched by a fountain which is in Jezreel. 2 And the lords of the Philistines passed on by hundreds, and by thousands: but David and his men passed on in the rereward with Achish. 3 Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell unto me unto this day? 4 And the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith should he reconcile himself unto his master? should it not be with the heads of these men? 5 Is not this David, of whom they sang one to another in dances, saying, Saul slew his thousands, and David his ten thousands?

6 Then Achish called David, and said unto him, Surely, as the LORD liveth, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the host is good in my sight: for I have not found evil in thee since the day of thy coming unto me unto this day: nevertheless the lords favour thee not. 7 Wherefore now return, and go in peace, that thou displease not the lords of the Philistines. 8 And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been with thee unto this day, that I may not go fight against the enemies of my lord the king? 9 And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou art good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle. 10 Wherefore now rise up early in the morning with thy master's servants that are come with thee: and as soon as ye be up early in the morning, and have light, depart. 11 So David and his men rose up early to depart in the morning, to return into the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.

    New Testament Reading
    Luke 13:1

1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. 7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? 8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: 9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. 11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. 12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. 13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. 14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day. 15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? 16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? 17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

18 Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? 19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. 20 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? 21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. 22 And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.

    Proverb of the Day
    Proverbs 15

1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. 2 The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness. 3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. 4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. 5 A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. 6 In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble. 7 The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so. 8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. 9 The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness. 10 Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die. 11 Hell and destruction are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men? 12 A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise. 13 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. 14 The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness. 15 All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast. 16 Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith. 17 Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith. 18 A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife. 19 The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain. 20 A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother. 21 Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly. 22 Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established. 23 A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! 24 The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath. 25 The LORD will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the border of the widow. 26 The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words. 27 He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live. 28 The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things. 29 The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. 30 The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat. 31 The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise. 32 He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding. 33 The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.

  • T&M PLAYING GAMES AT YAHVAHOSHA'S EXPENSE

Then did they spit in his face and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands, saying Prophesy unto us, thou Messiah, Who smote thee? Mt 26:67-68

And the men that held Yahvahosha mocked him, and smote him. And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him saying, Prophecy, who is it that smote thee? Lk 22:63-64

If we're going to get the full picture of what happened in Caiaphas' chamber that night when the religious leaders were spitting on Yahvahosha and striking Him in the face with their fists, we need to put the pieces of this picture together from both the Gospel of Matthew and Luke.

Lk 22:63 says, "And the men that held Yahvahosha mocked him and smote him." I want you to particularly see the word "mock" in this verse. It comes from the Greek word empaidzo, which meant to place a game. It was often used for playing a game with children or amusing a crowd by impersonating someone in a silly and exaggerated way. For instance, this word might be used in a game of charades when someone intends to comically portray someone or even make fun of someone. This gives us an important piece of the story that Matthew didn't include in his Gospel account.

Even before He had to endure spitting and vicious beating of the scribes and elders that night. Yahvahosha was also severly beaten by "the men that held" him. This doesn't refer to the scribes and elders, but to the temple police and guards who kept watch over Yahvahosha before Caiaphas examined Him.

In addition to everything else tat was going on that night, these guards decided they would take advantage of the moment too. The Scripture doesn't tell us how these men mimicked and impersonated Yahvahosha that night, bujt the use of the Greek word empaidzo categorically lets us know that these men turned a few minutes of that nightmarish night into a stage of comedy at Yahvahosha expense. They put on quite a show, hamming it up as they almost certainly pretended to be Yahvahosha and the people He ministered to. Perhaps they laid hands on each other as if they were healing the sick; or lay on the floor and quivered, as if they were being liberated from devils; or wobbled around, acting as if they had been blind but now could suddenly see. Whatever these guards did to mock Yahvahosha it was a game of charades to mimic and make fun of Him.

When they were finished making sport of Yahvahosha, Luke tells us that these guards "smogde him." The word "smote" is from the word dero, a word used frequently to refer to the grueling and barbaric practice of beating a slave. This word is so dreadful that it is also often translated to flay, such as to flay the flesh from an animal or human being. The usage of this word tells us that even before the  scribes and elders got their hands on Yahvahosha, the guards had already put Him through a terrible ordeal.

Immediately after the guards were finished playing their charades and brutally beating Yahvahosha, the scribes and elders began to spit in His face and whack Him on the head with their fists. But the elders didn't stop there. They blindfolded Yahvahosha and began to strike Him on the head again, taking their humiliation of Him to the next level. This represented Yahvahosha's third beating.

If we only read Luke's account we might conclude that this third beating was also at the hands of the guards. However, when we compare and connect Luke's account with Matthew's  account, it becomes clear that by this time Yahvahosha had already been transferred into the hands of Caiaphas and his scribes and elder. When we read next in Lk 22:64 occurred after these religious leaders had already spit on Him and hit Him Mt 22:67.

Lk 22:64 says "And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee? The word "blindfold" comes from the Greek word perikalupto which means to wrap a veil or garment about someone, thus hiding his eyes so he can't see. We don't know where the blindfold came from. It could have been a piece of Yahvahosha's own clothing or a garment borrowed from one of the scribes and elders. But by the time they finished wrapping Yahvahosha's head in that cloth, He was completely blinded form seeing what was happening around him.

Just as the guards played charades at Yahvahosha's expense, now Caiaphas with the scribes and elders play blindman's bluff at His expense! Once Yahvahosha was blindfolded, "they struck him on the face." The word "struck" is from the Greek word paio, which describes a strike that stings. A more precise translation might be "they slapped him on the face." This is the reason the Greek word paio was used, for it referred to a slap that caused a terrible sting.

After slapping Yahvahosha,  the scribes and elders would badget Him, saying "...Prophesy, who is it  that smote thee?" Here we find that these so-called religious leaders got so caught up in their sick behavior that they sadistically enjoyed the pain they were putting Yahvahosha through. They slapped Him over and over again, tell Him, "Come prophet! If You're so good at prophesying and knowing things supernaturally, tell us which one of us just slapped You!"

Finally, Lk 22:65 tells us, "And many other things blasphemously spake they against him.' The word blasphemy is from the Greek word blasphemeo, meaning to slander; to accuse; to speak against; to speak derogatory words for the purpose of injuring or harming one's reputation. It also signifies profane, foul, unclean language.

So now let me ask you two questions:

Are you serious in your relationship with Yahvahosha Messiah, or are you, like those who held Him that night simply playing games with Him?
When other people start playing around with your mind and emotions, are you able to follow Yahvahosha's example by holding your peace and loving them in spite of the torture they are putting you through?

Why don't you open your heart right now and let the Holy Ghost shine His majestic light into the  crevices of your soul? Allow Him to reveal those areas of your life where you need to get to work!

PRAYER: YAHVAH, I NEVER WANT TO PLAY GAMES WITH YOU. I AM ASKING YOU RIGHT NOW TO FORGIVE ME FOR ANY TIME THAT I HAVE LIED TO YOU AND TO MYSELF, DECEIVING MYSELF INTO BELIEVING THAT THINGS WERE ALL RIGHT IN MY LIFE HEN, IN FACT THEY WERE NOT INWARDLY GOOD AT ALL. PLEASE SHINE YOUR LIGHT DEEP INTO MY SOUL TO SHOW ME ANY AREAS OF MY LIFE THAT NEEDS IMMEDIATE ATTENTION. AND YAHVAH, I ALSO ASK THAT YOU GIVE ME A STRONG DESIRE TO READ THROUGH ALL FOUR GOSPELS SO I MIGHT BETTER KNOW THE LIFE OF YAHVAHOSHA AND HOW I CAN BE MORE LIKE HIM. THIS I PRAY IN THE NAME OF YAHVAHOSHA MESSIAH. HALLELUYAH! Bro. Doc

  • SERMON PREACHED 2003, THE HOLY GHOST

Today we are going to talk about the Holy Ghost in four part. We will be in Jn 14:12-31 and Acts 2:1-4, 16-18

Let us pray: Father, we thank you for giving us the Holy Ghost, whom is here to help us live in us and be our guide. We thank you for the power that it brings into our lives. I ask this evening that you will bless us as we learn from you word.

    I. POWER Jn 14:12-14

Vs. 12. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He who believes on Me, the Works that I do shall he do also (believing on Messiah gives one access to the Father, Who does the Works); and greater Works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father ( it respects quantity rather than quality; the Works of Messiah were confined to greater Israel, while the works of Believers cover the entirety of the world.
Vs 13. And whatsoever you shall ask in My Name, that will I do ( the Religious Brethren is given the Power of Attorney to use the Name of Messiah (Halleluyah); but if one is to notice, all the usage of His Name is confined to the spirit world; Believers are never given authority over other Believers), that the Father may be glorified in the Son (is accomplished through the greater Work of Messiah being extended through ALL BELIEVERS (Praise His Name!)
Vs 14. If you shall ask anything in My Name, I will do it (refers to that which is in harmony with His Character and Will).

    II. THE HELPER

Vs 15. If you love Me, keep My Commandments (His Commandments can only be kept in one way; the Believer must ever make Messiah and the Stake the Object of his Faith, which will then give the Holy Ghost latitude to work within our lives and help us do these things which we much do. (Thank You Yahvahosha).
Vs 16. And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter ("Parakleto" which means 'One called to the side of another to help'), that He may abide with you forever (before the Stake, the Holy Ghost could only help a few individuals, and then only for a period of time; since the Stake, He lives in the hearts and lives of Believers, and does so forever).
Vs 17. Even the Spirit of Truth (the Greek says, "The Spirit of the Truth" which refers to the Word of Yahvah; actually, He does far more than merely superintend the attribute of Truth, as Messiah "is Truth" 1 Jn 5:6); Whom the world cannot receive (the Holy Ghost cannot come into the heart of unbeliever until that person makes Messiah his or her Saviour; then He comes in), because it sees Him not, neither knows Him (refers to the fact that only Born Again Believers can understand the Holy Ghost and know Him): but you know Him (would have been better translated "But you shall get to know Him") for He dwells with you (before the Stake), and shall be in you (which would take place on the Day of Pentecost and forward, because the sin debt has been forever paid by Messiah on the Stake, changing the disposition of everything).
Vs 18. I will not leave you confortless (helpless): I will come to you (through the Person of the Holy Ghost).
Vs 19. Yet a little while, and the world sees Me no more (in a few days He would be taken back to Majesty); but you see Me (after the Day of Pentecost, you will see Messiah in the Person of the Holy Ghost): because I live, you shall live also (refers to His coming Resurrection, which guarantees the Work of the Stake).
Vs 20. At that day (after the Resurrection, and the coming of the Holy Ghost on the Day of Pentecost) you shall know that I am in My Father (speaks of Deity; Yahvahosha is Yahvah (Halleluyah), and you in Me ( has to do with our Salvation by Faith), and I in you (enables us to live a victorious life Gal 2:20)
Vs 21. He who has My /commandments, and keeps them, he it is who loves Me ( as stated, we can keep His Commandments only by allowing  the Holy Ghost to work within our lives, which He does based on our Faith expressed in Messiah and the Stake): and he who loves Me shall be loved of My Father (provides the criteria of approval by the Father) and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him (means to fully disclose His Person, Nature, and Goodness to the Believer)
Vs 22. Judas said unto Him, not Iscariot, Rabbi, how is it that You will manifest Yourself unto us, and not unto the world? (Also known as Lebbaeus or Thaddaeus. He was the brother of James the Less. His questions have implications of Israel being restored to her place of glory and grandeur).
Vs 23. Yahvahosha answered and said unto him, If a man loved Me, he will keep My Words (presents this of which Yahvahosha Yahvahosha speaks as based on Love, which is the exact opposite of what the Apostles were  speaking, which was force; they wanted Yahvahosha to use His Power to force Rome and other people of the world to recognize Israel as the Premier Nation): and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him (all through the Holy Ghost), and make Our abode with him (Yahvahosha explained that His manifestation of HImself was to the heart; it was inward and spiritual, so that the heart would consciously enjoy His abiding in it).
Vs 24. He who loves Me not keeps not My sayings (millions claim to love Yahvahosha, but such is an empty claim if His "saying" are ignored): and the Word which you Hear is not Mine, but the Father's which sent Me (Reynolds said, "Love involves obedience, and obedience involves Love. Consequently, obedience is the great proof of Love, and if Love is absent, this means that obedience of the Word is absent as well.").
Vs 25. But the Comforter (Helper) which is the Holy Ghost, Whom the Father will send in My Name (because Yahvahosha paid the price on the Stake, enabling the Holy Ghost to come in a completely new dimension), He shall teach you all things, and bring all things (proclaims the Holy Ghost as the Great Teacher of the Word of Yahvah, which is the only way one can learn the Word) to your remembrance, whatsoever i have said unto you (refers to the Holy Ghost helping the Apostles remember what Yahvahosha had said and, as well, to understand what He had said).

    III. PEACE (SHALOM)

Vs 27. Peace I leave with you (Sanctifying Peace), My Peace I give unto you (there is a vast difference in "Peace with Yahvah," which all Believers have, and "The Peace of Yahvah" of which Yahvahosha speaks here): not as the world gives, give I unto you (the peace of he world is but surface; that given by Messiah is in the heart). Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid ("The Peace of Yahvah" heals the troubled heart, and takes away fear).
Vs 28. You have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you (He is speaking of sending the Holy Ghost, which He did!) If you loved Me, you would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father (Messiah going to the Father proclaimed the fact that His Great Sacrifice on the Stake has been accepted, and Righteousness could now be imputed to men, all carried out by the Holy Ghost): for My Father is greater than I (speaks of Messiah as it regards His Incarnation).
Vs 29. And now I have told you before it come to pass (refers to all the things He would do, which pertained to the Impalement, the Resurrection, and the Ascension; as well, it spoke of Him sending back the Holy Ghost, Who in effect would take His place), that, when it is come to pass, you might believe (has reference to the fact that the fulfillment would be very soon, actually beginning the next day).
Vs 30. Hereafter I will not talk much with you (could be translated, ("Hereafter I will not have much more time to talk with you'): for the Prince of this world comes (speaks of Satan) and has nothing in Me (Satan has no hold over Yahvahosha,no claim on Yahvahosha; He was totally Holy, completely, absolutely, and irrevocably above sin and Satan.)
Vs 31. But that the world may know that I love the Father (presents Himself in the same made which He demanded of His Disciples); and as the Father gave Me Commandment, even so I do (proclaims His perfect Example; we are to follow accordingly!). Arise, let us go Hence (it expressed haste accomplish the Father's will

    IV. PENTECOST  Acts 2:1-4, 16-18

Vs 1. And when the Day of Pentecost was fully come (the Feast of Pentecost, one of the seven great Feasts ordained by Yahvah and practiced by Israel yearly; (Praise His Name!), they were all with one accord in one place (Halleluyah! not the upper room where they had been previously meeting, but rather the Temple, Lk 24:53; Ac 2:46).
Vs 2. And suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing  mighty wind (Halleluyah! portrays the coming of the Holy Ghost in a new dimension, all made possible by the Stake), and it filled the house (the Temple) where they were sitting (they were probably in the Court of Gentiles).
Vs 3. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire (HALLELUYAH!! the only record of such in the Restored Covenant, and was the fulfillment of the Prophecy of John the Baptist concerning Yahvahosha, Mt 3:11) and it sat upon each of them (refers to all who were there, not just the Twelve Apostles; the exact number is not known).
Vs 4. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost (all were filled, not just the Apostles; due to the Stake, the Holy Ghost could now come into the hearts and lives of all Believers to abide permanently, Jn 14:16), and began to speak with other tongues (the inititial physical evidence that one has been Baptized with the Holy Ghost, and was predicted by the Prophet Isaiah, Isa 28:9-12, and by Messiah, Mk 16:17; Jn 15:26; 16:13), as the Holy Ghost gave them utterance (meaning they did not initiate this themselves, but that it was initiate by the Holy Ghost; as we shall see, these were languages known somewhere in the world, but not by the speaker).
     Vs 16. But this is that which was spoken by the Prophet Joel (please notice that Peter did not say "this fulfills that spoken by the Prophet Joel," but rather, "this is that..." meaning that it will continue);
Vs 17 And it shall come to pas in the last days, saith Yahvah (proclaims these "last days" as beginning on the Day of Pentcost (HALLELUYAH!), and continuing through the coming Great Tribulation), I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh (speaks of all people everywhere and, therefore, not limited to some particular geographical location; as well, it is not limited respecting race, color, or creed); and your sons and daughters shall Prophesy (including both gender), and your young men shall dream dreams ( all given by the Holy ghost; the Hebrew language insinuates "both your young men and old men shall see visions, and both your old men and young men shall dream dreams"; it applies to both genders as well):
Vs 18. And on My servants and on My handmaiden I will pour out in those days of My Spirit (is meant purposely to address two classes of people who had been given very little status in the past, slaves, women); and they shall Prophecy (pertaining to one of the "Gifts of the Spirit", I Co 12:8-10)

The Holy Ghost is moving in this place tonight, "have ye received since ye believed?"
You need the Holy Ghost this evening, to fight the devil, you NEED POWER IN YOUR LIFE!!!
If you want the Holy Ghost, come forward this evening and let us anoint you with oil and you will receive the Holy Ghost.
Praise His Name, Praise His Name!!! Halleluyah, Halleluyah!!

    Dog's life

My wife agrees that I do indeed lead a "dog's life".

The way she puts it though is: "He comes in with muddy feet, makes himself comfortable by the fire, and expects to be fed."

An accordion, a set of bagpipes, and a viola

If you drop an accordion, a set of bagpipes and a viola off a 20-story building, which one lands first?

    Who cares?

    The Many Uses of Coca-Cola

    1. In many states the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coke in the trunk to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.

    2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of Coke and it will be gone in two days.

    3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coke into the toilet bowl. Let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean.

    4. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.

    5. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a crumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.

    6. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.

    7. To loosen a rusted bolt: Apply a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.

    8. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan; wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.

    9. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield.

    FYI:

    1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. It's pH is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days.

    2. To carry Coca Cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial truck must use the Hazardous material place cards reserved for Highly Corrosive materials.

    3. The distributors of coke have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years! Drink up!

    Fifty-Fifty

A young man saw an elderly couple sitting down to lunch at Burger King. He noticed that they ordered one meal, and an extra drink cup. As he watched, the gentleman carefully divided the hamburger in half, then counted out the fries. One for him, one for her, until each had half of them. Then he poured half of the soft drink into the extra cup, and set it in front of his wife. The old man began to eat, and his wife sat watching, with her hands folded in her lap.

The young man decided to ask if they would allow him to purchase another meal for them so that they didn't have to split theirs.

The old gentleman said, "Oh, no. We've been married 50 years, and everything has always been and will always be shared, 50/50."

The young man than asked the wife if she was going to eat, and she replied, "Not yet. It's his turn using the teeth."

  • TODAY IN HISTORY 4-14-13

Today is 4-14-13 and it is Yom HaZikaron (Israel Memorial Day)

This is where Israel remembers the 23,085 Jewish Soldiers have lost their lives since Israel became a Nation in 1948. Whether you are Jewish or not, we all should take a moment and remember them. Bro. Doc
